Attention Tabb PTSA Cooks and Chefs!

The PTSA needs your help in collecting favorite recipes for the eagerly awaited Tabb High PTSA Hospitality Cookbook, "A Taste of Tabb."  Best loved, tried and true recipes for Main Dishes, Casseroles, Breads and Baked Goods, Salads, Soups and Sides, Desserts, Cooking for a Crowd, and the catch-all "This & That" will be accepted for publishing.  Recipes do not have to be original, and variations are encouraged!

The cookbook company is offering up to a $5000 award to the best cookbook of the 2009-2010 year, so Tabb PTSA Hospitality is enlisting the help of our high school artists and hoping that you will give us plenty of recipes to fill out the book, making it unique and special.

Here are 3 ways to submit a recipe:

1.  Go to: www.typensave.com. Type in your own name on the Contributor line; type the group login: 2getcooking and the password: THS2010.  Find the Add Recipe link and follow the directions.

2.   Type up your recipe and just e-mail it to Deni dajalewis@cox.net, Jeanne 6711@cox.net, or Marie Phillips phipmar@aol.com. Please include your contact information.

3.    Type up your recipe and put it in the PTSA mailbox in the Tabb High School office. Please include your contact information.

Recipes must be turned in no later than February 2, 2010.  That may seem like a long way away, but remember, the busy holiday season is coming soon!  Tabb teachers and staff are really hoping that they will find many of their favorite Staff Luncheon dishes included in the book, as well as some of the punch, snack, tailgate and reception goodies that have been served over the years.

Help us make the most of that Tabb Tiger Spirit and keep those "growling" tummies at bay!
